Optimistic Barcelona Alves Will Survive
Barcelona – Dani Alves has not yet approved the proposed offer Barcelona. Even so, Barça president Josep Maria Bartomeu believes that the Brazilian defender nationality will survive in the next season.
Alves contract will expire at the Camp Nou this summer. Negotiations between the two sides have reportedly underway but the players are not satisfied with the initial contract offer.
Alves himself flooded with enthusiasts. Clubs such as Manchester City, Manchester United and Paris St Germain was fighting signature 32-year-old footballer.
For Barca, Alves maintains very important. Given Los Cules still undergoing transfer ban until January 2016.
“Alves closer to stay at the club rather than leave,” said Bartomeu told TV3 ESPNFC reported. “We’ve asked that survive.”
“We are in negotiations with his agent because he is an important player, not only now but also in the future. He was impatient kept fighting and working hard.”
“We hope that in the end he will accept and it is a club that could offer what is appropriate for him. I chose not to be dragged into the situation of the negotiations, but Dani wants to survive and Barca want him to stay,” said Bartomeu.
“When two parties have a common goal, then it is easier to reach an agreement.”
In this season, Alves has appeared in 40 games in all competitions Barca by donating a total of nine assists.
